Dear Hiring Manager:
Through the recommendation of California
State University – Fullerton (CSUF) Visual Art Department, I am seeking a
position as a 2D artist at Walt Disney Animation Studio. My area of special
study is Animation. It focuses on both 2D transitional animation and 3D CG
animation. I’m a current undergraduate student from CSUF. I’m planning to
graduate in spring 2015 with a BFA degree in Animation. My overall GPA is 3.41.
I have been to U.S. for 4 years for studying art and animation.
The fine art foundation can helps me to have a better understanding of
lighting and anatomy in animation projects. My experience of Maya can
contribute to a 3D animation projects. Microsoft office skills will helps me to
be organized and able to handle the presentation. More than that, the athletic
experience gives me the sprite of team work. It can also help me to understand
body movement in actual animation projects.
I love to help people. All my experience comes from volunteers jobs in
AGS Honor Society in Santa Monica College or individual. I helped Heal the Bay,
APLA, LA Marathon, Hollywood Half Marathon, Nike She Run, Malibu Creek Run, and
LMU Special Games. As a student volunteer, I achieved 30 hours of volunteer
work with and 3.75 GPA for spring 2012 semester. I am
also an easy going personal who is good with children. I like to ride random
bus routes for sketching people.
